Farebar Bagherpour

Farebar Bagherpor is the Iranian American designer and brand owner of Farebar. Influenced by his Iranian culture, history, and art - Farebar shares his culture within the logo, fabric, and every design. Largely inspired by the Iranian Ghalamkar fabric, designer Farebar adds in elements of vintage military and streetwear fashion to create his truly one of a kind brand. With all products hand sewn, dyed, and printed in Los Angeles, CA customers can feel the passion and love in every garment.

Farebar interest in textiles started from a young age when he went shopping locally with his mom in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a kid Farebar would walk around the store, feeling each fabric, and was instantly fascinated with textiles. The love for buying and selling didn’t come until he was 14 years old when he started to collect and sell vintage sports merchandises. In 2010 Farebar took a trip to his home country, Iran, to reconnect with his culture and family. During his visit in Iran he went to Isfahan where a seed of creativity and curiosity was planted. After that Farebar decided to practice the arts of fashion, textile, and graphic design. When Farebar got back in the U.S he researched and honed his skills in screen printing and sewing. Farebar invested his money and time to teach himself how to screen print and sew every morning, afternoon, and night in the summer of 2011 in his basement. For college Farebar moved to California to go to school to learn the business of fashion. After graduating Farebar has been working in the industry and gained the experience to open a creative studio on March 1st, 2020 in Los Angeles, California.

With sustainability at the forefront, the Farebar brand aspires to share its designer's Iranian heritage through rich colors, quality fabrics, and military/workwear silhouettes. With the goal of sharing a piece of his life story in every design, each handmade piece allows the customer to share in it as well.
